SESIS 2019

The Fifth International Workshop on

Security Engineering for Secure Information Systems

Workshop Overview

Recently, many forms of security attacks against information systems (ISs) have emerged that attempt to compromise the security of information systems and organizations. Therefore, security engineering has quickly become an important field in order to develop more secure ISs because traditional software engineering is not adequate and effective for developing secure ISs. Security engineering is a field of engineering dealing in developing detailed engineering designs for secure ISs and for security of spaces. It focuses on the tools, processes, and methods needed to design, implement, and test complete systems, and to adapt existing systems as their environment evolves. Security engineering involves aspects of software engineering, cryptography, and economics, as well as mathematics and architecture.

The fourth international workshop on Security Engineering for Secure Information Systems (SESIS 2019) aims to share ideas on the foundations, techniques, tools and applications of security engineering. This workshop will provide a forum for computer scientists, computer engineers, software engineers, and application developers who are required to design and develop information systems with high security.
